The Tri-Pak 6470 Conveyor is a specialized box and lid handling conveyor engineered to transport empty produce boxes and carton lids efficiently through post-harvest packing operations. A narrow powered belt running along the center of the conveyor provides positive movement for boxes and lids during normal operation. Along both outer edges, elevated skate wheels are spaced farther apart than the length of a typical box. During accumulation, this configuration allows the trailing box to remain driven by the center belt while upstream boxes ride slightly above the belt surface on the skate wheels as they compress together.

This low-drag accumulation design significantly reduces friction against both the conveyor belt and cardboard packaging during backups, helping minimize belt wear, reduce drive strain, and improve long-term operational efficiency.
