The Tri-Pak Trough Conveyor is a painted mild steel conveyor designed to gently transport watermelons and other round produce through receiving and line infeed applications. Angled medium-duty rollers form a trough shape beneath the PVK belting, cradling round commodities along the center of the belt and preventing rolling or shifting during transport.

The conveyor utilizes angled medium-duty rollers arranged across the frame width to create a V-shaped trough profile that centers both the belt and the produce it carries. The PVK belt material provides a durable, produce-friendly surface suitable for wet and outdoor receiving environments. This trough geometry is especially effective for large round produce like watermelons and cantaloupes that require lateral support to prevent rolling during movement.

Standard units are built 16"–18" wide by 10' long, with additional length available at a per-foot rate. Each unit includes a single or three phase motor, electrical disconnect at the motor, drive assembly, and oil catch pan under the reducer. Electronic variable speed drive is available as an option for applications requiring adjustable belt speed to match downstream equipment throughput.

The Trough Conveyor is commonly used as a receiving infeed conveyor, a transfer conveyor between washing and sizing equipment, or as a feeding conveyor upstream of a watermelon brush unit or classifying machine. Built for rugged agricultural environments, it provides dependable produce-gentle transport for round commodity packing and processing lines.
